Every letter I ever wrote her She keeps them safe like the secrets I showed her She gives a smile when I say her name She gives me love like the pouring rain
She is a flower in a field of clover She holds me captive when I try to hold her She gives the sun a reason to shine She gives this heart rhythym and rhyme
She came to me like a bolt right out of the blue Can't run from something that feels so true
The picture's perfect but these arms are empty Counting down the days until she's with me She takes my breath leaves me tongue tied speechless In her eyes I am frozen and weightless
I've learn all there is about lonely It's her heart now that calls me I've made my choice and she's my only I have no past left to haunt me
Another moment I'm drawn in deeper Sweet surrender in a burning fever She brings water to this desert ground She is a tempest and I wait to drown

Loved this imagery "She is a flower in a field of clover" And: "Sweet surrender in a burning fever She brings water to this desert ground She is a tempest and I wait to drown" I love those last 3 lines. Reading them over and over!
